Refund Policy

1. Nature of Donations

All contributions made to Darul Uloom Shaikh Noor Din Wali (RA) — whether as general donation, sadaqah, zakat, or lillah — are voluntary and made with the intention of seeking the pleasure of Allah (SWT). Once a donation is received and allocated, it is considered a completed act of charity.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances only:

• Duplicate payment made due to a technical error
• Incorrect amount transferred due to a verifiable mistake
• Payment made to our account by mistake (wrong UPI ID or account number)

Refund requests based on change of mind, personal circumstances, or general dissatisfaction will not be entertained once the donation has been received and utilised.

3. Zakat & Designated Donations

Donations designated for a specific purpose (e.g. student sponsorship, building fund, or Zakat) will be applied to that purpose. If a designated fund is oversubscribed or the purpose cannot be fulfilled, we will contact the donor to redirect the contribution to an alternative eligible cause.

4. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction with the following details:

• Full name of the donor
• Date and amount of transaction
• Payment method used (UPI / Bank Transfer)
• Transaction ID or UTR number
• Reason for refund request

5. Processing of Approved Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days to the original payment source. We do not charge any processing fee for approved refunds. Refunds will only be made to the account or UPI ID from which the original payment was received.

6. No Refund on Cash Donations

Cash donations made in person at the institution or via a representative cannot be refunded under any circumstances once received by the institution's management.

7. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising in relation to this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Jammu & Kashmir.
